



Peter Markey (1930–2016) was a British muralist whose work significantly influenced the artistic landscape of Falmouth, UK. MAya participated in the renovation of his mural in 2018 and helped to transform a public space into a vibrant testament to the local culture and the maritime history of the region.
This large-scale piece, spanning several meters, depicts scenes of coastal life, highlighting fishermen, traditional boats, and the historic architecture of Falmouth. Using a palette of vivid colors and intricate details, Markey succeeded in capturing the essence of the community while paying homage to the sea and the traditions surrounding it.
